  Renault Duster - owner review

  Whats Good

  The Amt Renault Duster. this is work horse, it has many faces like, -Wife's car (new driver). -My everyday beat up car, I m a really rough driver and my busy schedule makes for an unpleasant driving style. But happily the duster takes in everything. -Family run about, it hauls every thing from veggies to equipment and parts. -Business tool, being a contractor as well as a garage owner, the duster comes in very handy, the good ground clearance lets me go to work sites with bad road conditions and ample boot lets me carry everything I need. Decent power calls for a good driving experience, I have updated to 17' alloys and 225/55 sections types and the car handles Wonderful. being able to go over pot holes like nothing exists is also a great relief. so as a overall family car and something to balance work and family life with a bit off added fun. The Renault Duster AMT is a Wonderful choice for me. Having run close to 50000 km I have had not many major issues.

  What Can Improve

  Interior quality and ergonomics are a let down as that is were we spend most of out time in. Bit more comfortable seats and better bolsters. Audio which came with the car is not to great also.

  I have added a BMC replacement filter to the car, which has no major effect but dose give a slightly better top end feel. also recently gave it a good oil treatment. With flush and AMS 5w40 synthetic oil. Car drives very smooth. Major change are the alloys which have dramatically changed the feel of driving the car, (note: adapter hub rings are needed to avoid vibrations when installing alloys).

  Renault Duster - Mixed feelings

  Whats Good

  Am happy with its driving comfort, suspension, power and build quality!

  What Can Improve

  Fuel injector, other electronic complaints, parts value, service problems, noisy doors n wear sounds! Best before 100 k it seems!
