Both these brands are working on developing new platforms that has made it possible to make a lot more products for the Indian car market and at the same time even export it to other car markets.
Its first successful product ever was the Duster in 2012 and then its first made in India product was launched In 2016 in the form of the the Kwid, which is a game changing product for the company. There are a lot more products like the Kwid that will be launched in the coming few years. All these are based on the new CMF-A platform that has been localised. The operations of this plant commenced in 2011 and now it is one of the largest car exporter from India as a JV with Nissan.

Renault has been very aggressive with its product and network strategy. In about three years, the company has a dealership network of 150 showrooms across the country. This includes major cities, urban towns and semi-urban areas. The company has even introduced aggressive products like the Duster, Kwid, Triber mini MPV as well as the Kiger compact SUV. The company is also doing a CSR activity where it is educating people on road safety.
